‘Smashing Machine’s Emily Blunt To ‘Walk The Blue Fields’ With Helmer John Crowley

EXCLUSIVE: Emily Blunt will star in and produce Walk the Blue Fields, based on the stirring romance short story by acclaimed author Claire Keegan (Small Things Like These). John Crowley (Brooklyn) is in talks to direct the film in his home country of Ireland. Script is by multiple Tony-nominated playwright and screenwriter Conor McPherson (The Girl from the North Country). 

Walk the Blue Fields follows a woman on her wedding day being confronted with a heart-wrenching decision, as a love triangle from her past threatens to be revealed. Plan is to start late this year or early next in Ireland. READ MORE
